If its United the title for last season will go the the team who finished in second place.

I sincerely doubt it. For a start, it didn't happen last season, it happened in the last few days/weeks. Secondly, the punishment would almost certainly not relate to last season but to the coming one. Thirdly there's no way the penalty would be that harsh. They might make a punitive fine and the employee involved would surely be banned from football, but I just can't see any points deductions or similar coming from this, in last season or this.

I wish it were different and the FA would come down on them like a ton of bricks, and I don't think it's part of The Great Agenda (TM) but I just think that football authorities have a tendency to under-punish just about everything except match-fixing. And even then they sometimes under-punish match-fixing.

I tend to agree, however as this is theft it is also a criminal matter, so the police will be involved at some point

Just wishful thinking, but Mancini has won titles this way before..
Then we have to fire Pellegrini and reinstall Bobby Manc..

Without reading all 21 pages, has this really happened? If so, do we know who it is or is this a guessing game of 19 premiership teams? What will the punishment be, surely it would be only the FA to take action, whats it got to do with Uefa?

My guess is that this is liverpool. They recently took a few scouts from us and it sounds to me like it wasn't a case of hacking and more a case of former employees using their old account details to log in and look at what were up to.

Yeah, that would still be hacking..

If this is actually true and can be proven then we are talking serious criminal charges with custodial sentences for the individuals, along with serious corporate corporate liability/litigation for the responsible organisation.

It would, wrong choice of words.

If a club is found guilty, and if it involves the recruitment of youngsters from Europe, using stolen information from our database, then UEFA will want to get a punishment in surley. 5 year ban from all UEFA competitions sounds like a good 'un to me.

Oh look, RAWK starting to get twitchy http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=274792.msg11742132#msg11742132

Interesting how they say that Coutinho and Sturridge were recommended by the ex-City scouts. We already knew about Sturridge but Coutinho is a great find. Wouldn't City have policies in place that would prohibit former employees from leaking such confidential information (assuming that they got the players' information from City's database)? Then again, seeing that Barca were accusing our Spanish duo of doing the exact same thing, I would think not..

Anyway, I would really be surprised if its found to be a club that's not United or Liverpool..

United did not do this. doesnt matter how much you hate them we all must admit they still possess some morality and character.
