Liverpool pay City £1 million in "spy" settlement for hacking - biggest PL scandal

I don't think it is the Rags. They do have a few dirty tricks up their sleeve but they don't stoop that low.

Just seen this on RAWK (sneaked a look as wanted to see what their take was on the hacking), cheeky feckers:

I had a look over at City forum the other day. Bluemoon has got to the the biggest clusterfuck of a football forum i've seen. Who the hell is behind that catastrophe? A shout to the Sheikh and surely an upgrade could be on the cards?

Certainly contains the dimmest fans in the PL too. The half-witted idiots and level of conversation there is quite something.

Explains the bundle of fans that are constantly hopping over here - even if the majority are just registering for the validation from the clan of the bigger and glossier institution.

They just tap up the players only and they don't use the same computer software as City.

I don't fall for this apparent rush to sign up Navas and Fernandinho. Both players were expensive buys and were so because they were fully capable international players whose abilities were there for all the world to see. They weren't mystery players to anyone employed in the game in a professional matter. I think the issue is really down at the grassroots level of the game where scouts are looking to pick up the stars of the future before anyone else gets to hear of them. This leaves me to guess that either the bin dippers are involved, having recently employed some ex-City scouts, or it could be our own dear neighbours who like to boast about their wonderful local scouting network. They would be searching out the same targets as ourselves, and it would be in their own interests to get in first on any local kid that City were having a definite interest in signing up.

RAWK gets it stick, but the fact of the matter is that it has the best resource of football knowledge you will find on any football forum (have a look at a poster called PhaseofPlay, for one). RAWK is a place that demonstrates why we're regarded as the most knowledgeable fanbase.

Knowledgeable club with knowledgeable fans, Hubb Caps Lock.

I don't understand why people are saying it will be a club that now employees our previous scouts? Surely if you are going to hack someone it will be a club you have little or no inside knowledge on. The scouts who have gone to QPR and Liverpool can just tell them who we are looking at!
