Liverpool pay City £1 million in "spy" settlement for hacking - biggest PL scandal

I don't understand why people are saying it will be a club that now employees our previous scouts? Surely if you are going to hack someone it will be a club you have little or no inside knowledge on. The scouts who have gone to QPR and Liverpool can just tell them who we are looking at!

How far down the line would this continue with ex-city scouts ?
Surely from the moment when they leave, they are more and more not ITK for Coty's targets ?

Surely it was Man City who stole the info and are now trying to frame poor innocents?

My money is on Liverpool. Poached many of our old scouts so one or two could still have access or know the system well. Would also mean we get a new chant:

You couldn't scout your own
So you decided to hack away,
You lost last week
And you'll lose today,
Don't give a fuck cause we're all clued up,
Bin Dippers, okay!

Shocking I know but I try!

My Leeds supporting cousin was convinced (back when they were good) that the rags would wait for Leeds to be linked to a player and just buy him before they could.

Harry Redknapp's always been a bit dodgy. Maybe he's got bored of claiming that he was interested in a player after they've been signed by a better club and wants to actually get in before they do.

Not quite true Steve Bates confirmed that it is a premier league club and that the paper and City know which club it is. Apparently the only reason City have brought the IT people in is to make a watertight case against the club concerned which can be held up to scrutiny in a court of law.

This could get very interesting because he even suggested that it is was not a "rogue individual" more that it was "instigated by the club"

If a club is found guilty, and if it involves the recruitment of youngsters from Europe, using stolen information from our database, then UEFA will want to get a punishment in surley. 5 year ban from all UEFA competitions sounds like a good 'un to me.

Oh look, RAWK starting to get twitchy http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=274792.msg11742132#msg11742132

Interesting how they say that Coutinho and Sturridge were recommended by the ex-City scouts. We already knew about Sturridge but Coutinho is a great find. Wouldn't City have policies in place that would prohibit former employees from leaking such confidential information (assuming that they got the players' information from City's database)? Then again, seeing that Barca were accusing our Spanish duo of doing the exact same thing, I would think not..

Anyway, I would really be surprised if its found to be a club that's not United or Liverpool..
United did not do this. doesnt matter how much you hate them we all must admit they still possess some morality and character.

Does Selling mancky meat to schools count as Morality & Character in your mind? Or kicking out crash familys from club housing... to save a few bob... making an industry out of an air crash ?... which one has the more Morality & Character to you
