Liverpool Post Match Thread

Having watched the game again,on TV this time,i must apologise to the linesman in front of East stand first half,my view wasnt fantastic and subsequently he wasnt a useless cnut.......the fact is,our defence was even more shambolic than it looked at the time and his decisions were spot on.

Actually, I'm going to second this. I'm in the East Stand at that end of the ground and was absolutely positive their 2nd and 3rd goals were offside and gave the linesman the same amount of grief as you no doubt did!

Prestwich Pete
Totally agree with you
Thats what i was trying to say last night and today
However a lot of people cant seem to understand we will have bad days and are still going to lose everynow and again
City are still favs for the prem 7/5 with PP

not read all of the thread so......Manny has proved he's not got what it takes to take us to the top of the pile , not playing Otamendi & Fern was outrageous...they're professional atheletes in their prime ..........when I saw the pairing of Mangala & Demi ,my heart sank.....the worst performance Ive seen in years, have to face the scousers here now ...who expected a beating ,by the way ..

I hope there isn't this sort of over reaction after every poor performance. There'll be a couple more bumps in the road before the end of the season - there always is, even in our title winning seasons - but we're still favourites to win it.
There's been a reaction to the selection, the formation, the effort. There's been some excellent analysis as well.
You take comfort in Paddy Power if you want.

We heard all week that Sergio was likely to be back, and then we heard the chorus of toilets flushing down Melwood. They were no doubt expecting a non-stop bombardment of Mignolet's goal. Lo and behold, Sergio turns up and the rug is pulled from underneath the team's and fans' feet by a selection that left our best chances either on the bench or in an exective box.

@FantasyIreland

Not a foul in the build up to their first either, I thought it was at first, but Sagna just too soft.

Still gutted. Conceding 4 is bad enough but 4 at home? Can't ever happen again, that, or hair will be getting pulled.
