Liverpool - post match thread.

No still a long way to go. Hope Spurs beat the chavs , we beat burnley , if we get our arses in gear in the 2nd half of the season , we could beat Chealsea at away that just leaves 4 points to catch up, Chelsea and the other teams could go through a bad spell , no we can't give up yet.
Remember our title winning seasons we had no chance yet still won, wasn't united something daft like 16 points behind newcastle yet still won the league.

Never give up till the fat woman sings, come City on Monday and Come on Spurs on Weds.

We were playing a hell of a lot better then than we are now.

what has the manager had to say in after match interview?? we played well etc etc
Pep: "We started good. Their first chance they score so it was always difficult. First half we didn't create much, second a little better."

Pep: "It is what it is. There were not too many clear chances. In these kind of games the little details make the difference."

Pep: "We have to focus on the next game, not on the target or the Premier League, now is Burnley. Now we start the second road..."

Liverpool fan here.

Klopp didn't have a first great season but has improved the squad greatly this season.

As you lot said about us you will be a lot better next season under Kloppite.

Don't be blinded by your anger.

Happy new year our Mancunian cousins and all the best.

Thanks for your post and my sentiments entirely.

Things will get better but this project is going to take a little longer th a some would like.

Just got in from the match and I am only going to say that that was rubbish.

If on Friday he plays a weakened team against West Ham then I really will think that if Guardiola is the best football manager in the world then heaven help football!!

Bringing on Kelechi and Navas with less than 5 minutes of normal time, what was that about? He might as well not have bothered. I composed a really long post but have deleted most of it because it just isn't worth it!! Roll on Burnley on Monday, at least we can't mess that up can we?

Wish you'd of been right with your yaya up front prediction, might of given us a forward pass or ball forward to work off. In all seriousness, when we are so weak at the back it must impact the other players. One chance from our free kick on the edge of their box and in 10 seconds we concede. Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all exploited it, no wonder the players seem lacking confidence.

You mean, like when Silva gave him a give and go and he knocked it 20 yards back to Zabba ;-)

Some simmering tension towards Pep in this thread. Odd to see. The guy's been in charge for six months and has had one transfer window. Most of us said last summer he needed 11 new players because of the age of our squad. He got about half. It'll take time. Writing him off now is only gonna make you look foolish in 12 months.
