I disliked him since he ran down his contract to get a fat signing fee for Liverpool and celebrating like that infront of city fans is shitty formSpot on. He was a complete cnut that night, and I hope he wins fuck all the rest of his career

That in itself is not a lack of effort, its lack of ingenuity, but it also helps the other team put 10 players in the way, as we found last night.Often that way when the build up is slow and the option to pass sideways is the easy option.

Said from the perspective of someone moving forward without realizing the Bentley is also moving forward, just not as quickly as them, or they would like!Looks like the Bentley is in reverse to me
I'm glad he is annoyed. For all those saying pep doesn't care or is just here for the money that is crapWe saw at the start of the season the way Guardiola wants them to play - you can argue that the Premier League managers have done what great managers in other leagues couldn't (figure out how to stop it) or you can accept that with injuries, suspensions and the wearing down of players through the schedule that the players have reverted to what they know best, not necessarily deliberately. The new ways are not instinctive to them yet, and some will never be able to cope, but it's going to take a little time to figure all that out and bring in replacements where necessary.
Noticeable in the last few games we have stepped up in the second half following what has no doubt been a sharp reminder of what is expected during HT.
We've seen for a couple or three seasons now that this group has a habit of being incredibly ponderous in attack, and that is continuing. This window is Guardiola's first chance to take action on the things he's seen, and he might not even take it as it's so hard to buy in January. The accounts of his conversation with Txiki though suggest he is already annoyed.
Or maybe it will take longer than 6 months for Pep to get his ideas across to the players s also bring in the players he needs and wants. Did Klopp smash it within 6 months at Liverpool, no he didn't. Apart from the goal did Klopp's Liverpool offer anything else , nope.
These things take time, and we all knew our squad needed an overhaul especially in defence

Sane, Sterling out wide. Silva and KDB pulling the strings in the middle and one of Kelechi, Jesus or Aguero down the middle. That's the best forward line in the premiership by far, and we have players who had come in and cover too. I am confident we'll still be Chelsea's main challengers this seasonour defending has been pretty poor but the big problem for me is going forward. The build up play looks great at times but there are never enough players in the box. We need a player like Sanchez who sets play up and a few seconds later finds himself in or around the box

Something like this.
Aguero
Jesus
Sterling Silva Kdb Sane
Fernandiniho
Stones Kompany Otemendi
Bravo
And that in a nutshell is our problem, all great footballers, but not one of that front six will win the ball back for you.Something like this.

That's Peps problem, getting a balanced side from the players we have at the moment.
I'll probably get castigated for this but it is only an opinion. OK?
I am so sick and tired of hearing, both from the media, Guardiola and Manchester City fans, that Guardiola did well with Barcelona, with Bayern Munich!! Yes he did and well done to him but those times are (or should be) a memory, just as ours with our past 2 managers are, and have gone now. Now it is time to concentrate 100% on MANCHESTER CITY!! We need a manager who just gets on with the job here without constantly referring back to his past glories. We need a manager who buys into our team. It's no good pumping money into it, we become what the press and the media accuse us of being, just a money club. We want Manchester City to be a winning club with a winning mentality without always saying we need x player or z player! The new players we brought in are supposed to be the best, let them show us that.
Rant over. Off to the match soon. Come on MANCHESTER CITY. Come on Blues. :-)
