A page from Pep's book on how he thought this season may play out

bluwes, your judgment is as bad as Karen's and one or two other paranoid members. I'm a lifelong blue. 'Raggy comment.......' How pathetic can you get. Put yourself in SM's position. Super rich though he is, he's invested hundreds of millions in the team and doesn't quite have the progress he will have hoped for. Hart, Kompany and Zaba were bought for bargain prices before SM came. Silva was a bargain at £24m in SM's time. However, although his investment has delivered a level of success we always dreamed of, if I was SM I would still be disappointed when looking at the bigger picture. When we're not winning the Prem we should be a close second - 100 per cent constant effort.

Yawn.....Yeh right, he's spent millions on the club and infrastructure, together with getting into bed with the city council and investing even more millions in the local area. Dont even think about the investment in CFG with teams in New York and Melbourne, investments in clubs in Japan and China, with more to come in South Africa and South America... Yeh he is obviously so pissed off that he's to pack it all in and going to sell...Give it a rest

Hart wouldn't have saved that; unless he was out of position in the first place or clairvoyant.

A 12 yard header? I think he would have a good go. The thing is I don't want my goalie to play centre mid I want him to make saves and clear his lines and to shout at the defence and organise them.

At least bravo can do 20 keepy uppys, that's an important skill of a goalie.

It's ok saying we need 5/6/7 new players next season but the they need a bedding in period and so that'll be another season wasted

But those that remain will have been indoctrinated and we should have a proper preseason. Also, buy the right players and they will adapt quickly.

I'd spotted you were in a different time zone :-)

Cheers. I am really optimistic about what Pep will do but goodness knows how many players he will have to turnover unless several of them produce that bit extra e.g. too often today our players were static when Liverpool's were not and I trust that Pep will not allow that to continue, we dominated the ball but he will want greater domination.

That was the key issue. DeBruyne, Toure, Silva, Sterling, and Aguero played with an intensity way below that of their counterparts. There's big changes needed

Thing is, unless you fucking score you do not win football games :-)
