Nowhere near the success they've had. 'Shit' by a 'big' teams standard. We won the league and it was the first since 68'. We won the FA cup and it was the first since 69.

I don't doubt that some are but a quick skim of the pages and there's no discussion of football in here whatsoever. I shudder to think what's in the United thread which I oft avoid. I much prefer the bluemoon forum strictly related to City stuff as there people discuss. Here, not so much. The only team that doesn't seem to be hated is Chelsea and that's because they share our roots. It would be hypocritical of us to insult them and their success. Maybe Arsenal too. Then again, nobody seems to hate them. Strange one really. I put it down to the fact that they don't win and whilst being a consistently good team, they never really pose a threat. I remember when they were invincible. Boy, did people hate them haha

stick to the BLUEMOON FORUM then if you don't like general football chat.

and chelsea's roots are fucking nothing like ours. i have no idea why you said that.

and do not ever slag our history off ever again, we're one of the most exciting clubs in the world to follow. just because we went 35 years without anything doesn't mean it's "shit".....

Erm slag off? Why would I support City if I was trying to slag off our history? I am not slagging off our history and if that's all you got from my comment your best off not reading any of my posts.

What, so Chelsea were not bought by a supremely rich owner that has never ending resources, almost unrivalled in world football coupled with the fact that all he wants is for his team is to win? Don't be so blinkered. That is what I meant and you know it.

35 years without anything is 'shit' in the sense that it isn't SUCCESFULL. Gosh. Not that in the sense that i've hated every minute of it. Learn English please?
Looking at your post history, I am finding it hard to believe that you are anything other than a Liverpool fan tbh.

the term you used was ROOTS.

roots are at the bottom of the plant and generally mean the beginning, we weren't formed in 2008. you learn fucking english.

you're blatantly a scouser, and i'll be laughing my head off at another mid table finish from that vile racist shit house you support.

Don't believe me. I don't post very often. Hardly ever tbh. I just read. My father was the biggest Liverpool fan there is going (season ticket and everything) and when I read the comments on here I actually cringe at the vitrol as I am able to look at things objectively and with no seering blind red coloured hate. I was there at Roma. Cheered them on because it didn't infringe on City but City was always the only club who's results affected my mood.

He's not with us anymore but he always thought I was strange for supporting City. A small time club without much of a future. I wish he had been here to see the Aguero moment honestly! I don't think anything could have made that day anymore perfect.

I have an affection for Liverpool. Can't support them. I always thought people who supported United/Liverpool/Arsenal were inherrent glory supporters even if they were born at the swamp. Can't help it. How strange is it to now to be called a glory supporter for supporting City

Anyway, I just hope people take what i've said on board. It's contructive critisicm. I just find the posts in here to be contradictory in every way possible and if God forbid I was a Liverpool fan trolling these forums, i'd just find it funny there's so much interest for a supposed irrelevant delusional club.

-- Thu May 24, 2012 11:27 pm --

And Chelsea weren't formed in 2002. But this is what people say. This is my point!

Last sentence proves what I was saying to be honest. But yeah let's laugh at RAWK.

We're not a small time club, never were, an unsuccessful period in a club's history in no way makes a club small time, nor does being in a lower league.

Re: Liverpool Thread 2012

And in the same breath you'll say Liverpool are a small time club because they haven't finished in the top four for three years?

Look obviously to us as City fans, who will support the club even if they play in the conference league for 10 years, a 35 year drought with quite a few relegations takes nothing off the fact that to us, City are the greatest club in the world

But when my dad supports Liverpool and witnesses the absolute dominance they had over English and European football. To him, City were a small club. And it will have been to most of the other 'big four' clubs. I don't get mad about this. It's the cold hard facts of the matter. But hopefully, over the next few years we can add to our mantel piece and cement our place in European football. In fact not hopefully, i'm confident we will.

i've been on here since 2009 as you can see and in that time no city fan to my knowledge has described another club in seriousness as "small time".

Exactly. Has anyone called Liverpool a small club on this thread? Certainly not without tongue firmly in cheek.

Not quite sure what your point there is mate. If you need explaining, it's a phrase to describe a club that does not seem destined for big things, is not one used to success. It is overshadowed constantly by other 'big time' 'famous' clubs.
