PB will like this one.

Liverpool's current league run of games of P15 W3 D3 L9 Pts 12, is their worst run of form of 15 games or more since the 1953/54 season in which they were relegated, where they only picked up 9 pts in a 20 game spell. That's 48 seasons ago.
well done Kenny.

it's even worse than that. it's 58 seasons ago ;)

so it is, time flies.

Dalglish - what a tool

Dalglish slams UEFA over Bayern's home advantage in Champions League final

By Dominic King

Kenny Dalglish has become an unlikely ally of Chelsea after he condemned UEFA’s decision to stage the Champions League final in Munich.

The Liverpool manager believes UEFA have made a mockery of their principle of fair play, as well as handing Bayern Munich a huge advantage ahead of the showdown with Chelsea at their own stadium, the Allianz Arena, on May 19.

Dalglish was part of the Liverpool side which defeated Roma in the 1984 European Cup final at the Stadio Olimpico — the Italians’ home ground.
Home advantage: Bayern Munich will play Chelsea at their Allianz Arena

This will be only the fourth time in the competition’s 56-year history that a team will contest the biggest game in club football on home soil, but Dalglish insists UEFA have failed to heed any lessons.

‘I don’t think they should book the venue of a team representing their country in the European Cup,’ he said.

Dalglish, who called the decision to play in Rome 28 years ago ‘a disgrace’ in his memoirs, added: ‘It’s totally unfair. It is a huge advantage for Bayern Munich. But whether the advantage weighs for or against them remains to be seen. It could work against Bayern if the occasion gets too much for them.

Re: Dalglish - what a tool

Re: Dalglish - what a tool

Great idea Kenny, they should just book Anfield every year from now on.
The Europa league final sounds great there.
