Also lucas is fast becoming a sandro type player, in that i mean a player who is much better when he doesnt play than when he does, lucas had a couple of good games and all of a sudden hes the new makelele, viera etc all rolled into one, not to long ago they were saying lucas couldnt hit water if he fell out of a boat.

I think Lucas and Sandro are both quality midfielders, but both have been massively hindered by injury problems this season. Lucas took a bit longer to settle down then Sandro did imo, but there's no denying that when Sandro has played this season he hasn't been too good. Just hasn't looked fit, classic Spurs case of rushing players back from fitness imo, like what we've done to Huddlestone.

Re: Liverpool Thread 2012

I was working in Reading yesterday so ended up stopping there and went to watch the Chelsea v Barca game. I got talking to a group of scousers whilst in a pub and they were comedy genius. Apparently they are going to win the league next year, ala Gerrard every fucking year, and we won't make the top 5!

They were all deadly serious. I have never met a bigger bunch of delusional twats in my life

I think Liverpool will walk the league next season.

i think they`re getting some terrible decisions, they had 2 clear penalties turned down against newcastle before the barcode`s scored. add to that all the woodwork they seem to be hitting, is it any wonder they`re playing like a team with no confidence

...and maybe a cup or two as well :)

Re: Liverpool Thread 2012

Easy to mock the scousers based on their league position but top and bottom of it is they could well have two trophies in their cabinet at the end of the season and we could have none!

or maybe we both could have spent the same amount of money at the start of the season and both have a trophy, one being slightly significant than the other..
just saying like...:)
