Champions league football is a HUGE draw for most players.
They can't, and won't be able to offer that for some time methinks.

The league cup win is papering over the cracks. A win on penalties against a championship side aswell. Kenny wont last long next season. I cant remember a Liverpool team that has only won 5 league games at home so far this season. Thats shit. Hodgeson got the sack for less than that.
They are screwed with Kenny there. They dont have the heart to fire him. I just cant see many of there players staying if a Champions League come looking they will leave the club in my view. Stevie Starfish is past his sell buy date as is Carragther and there is no one there to replace them. Saurez and Carroll dont score enough goals and Bellers is on his way out as well. This season is his swansong he wont be able for a big amount of games next year.
I will say it here now next season Liverpool will miss out on Europe competition all together. The games on Thursday and Sunday will mess whatever slim chances they have of getting champions league football. Also I cant see there owners splashing the cash as they did this season next season.
