Getting a company with zero interest in, or experience of, football to design and manufacture your kit is asking for a disaster. I'm concerned with what Nike will do with our kits for the 2013-14 season but, fuck me, at least they have a track record of involvement in worldwide football!

And of course the other thing you lose with Warrior is that company's ability to distribute the merchandise. Usually the Nike's/Unbro's etc. have that ability to sell worldwide and that's how they make their money. But from what I've read, Warrior have handed that distribution right over to Liverpool (probably because they can't do it). So they've paid top dollar for a deal they when they won't even have control over distribution.

But, lets not forget, this isn't a "mates rates" deal at all, oh no. It's pure coincidence that Warrior offered pretty much twice what Adidas wanted to renew their deal for.....
