To be fair even with all the shit he's done I can't dislike Suarez as he is such a magnificent player, surely every fan of football knows what I mean, some of the magic he has pulled out this season gives you goosebumps. He's that good.

I appreciate your sentiments but he's sunk his teeth into two of his opponents. I just don't understand that. So for me he's a c u n t despite his footballing talent. For what it's worth, I wouldn't want him at City and if he was signed by us I certainly wouldn't support him.

I actually think that Rodgers is being quite clever here - he is crafting an 'us against the world' attitude at Klanfield - this has the effect of ralling round the Miseryside self-pity boys and corralling the victim-mentality proles into their ritual wearing of hair shirts and flaying themselves at the altar of perceived injustice.
Simple but effective tactics always work best on the simple, and he clearly understands his audience.

By highlighting the sort of decisions that go against just about any club in any match and suggesting that only Liverpool are victims of such decisions, he has also put a seed of doubt in the minds of referees. Liverpool will reap the benefit of that in a home game soon. I hope it isn't against us.

Nathaniel Clyne will replace Johnson in the summer. Great deal for LFC. Young, talented right back. Good engine to support further up the pitch but defensively sound and always improving. Sagna contract talks were stalling for a while as he had interest from Juventus and he wanted a new challenge however with his improved form a pay rise has been agreed. For a while Clyne was on Arsenal's radars as a replacement but that is over with this news.
