I asked him why they were counting the Guinness thingy this year but dismissed the Community Shield, last year.
'The Community Shield isn't a real trophy,' he told me. Ordinarily, I wouldn't argue the point but...
'And that thing, last night, is?' I asked.
'You don't get it,' he muttered and walked away.

Might be a crazy prediction but I think they may struggle a bit in the league this year. A lot of their players are at the end of their peak period and as such I think they may all focus a lot of their attention on the Champions League.

2, jose will take over the year after.

The thought of Mourinho at Liverpool is sickening. Not because I think they'd win the league, but he is just the sort of bloke who would manipulate the grief merchants into even more fervid displays of mawkishness.
The sense of entitlement of Merseyside would be epic, and only dwarfed by a sense of injustice if they lose a throw in or a someone on sky doesn't suck their collective cocks.

I think we'll struggle too, we'll only finish 20 points above the gloryhunting emo wankers this year which is a good 10 points less than we should do now that Luis Rushrez has dumped them for a club that isn't full of sycophantic bellends.

Liverpool should celebrate because the Champions League for one season is literally the closest they'll come to being Champions until they get relegated to the Championship.
