It's wonderful watching this unfold. Knowing just how little credit Mancini and subsequently Pellegrini received, and yet even in the short time since Mancini first arrived, we've seen multiple examples of big spending not achieving nearly what was even expected of us.

"Oh well they spent all this money, they should have got top 4"

Charlatans like Rodgers can't hold a candle to managers like Mancini or Pellegrini, which is damning indeed for the manager of a club who can hold as many candles as they do.

I was approaching it from the viewpoint that you had come up with this theory to explain the existence of a **** of the magnitude of Brenda. I firmly believe he's a real person as in my experience they really do exist in football and they're generally associated with one or the other of a select band of clubs.
