Miles better team without Gerrard.

There was a time when I thought only Zidane and Kaka were better midfielders than Gerrard in the world. He was a really special player from around 2002-2005.

That's a long time ago now.

If he gets straight back in the team for their next game it would be a real shame for the players that played tonight.

Adam Lallana is now the best player at that club.

I think their line up tonight was the best for the system they have deployed. Don't think Stevie gbh can play in it. At wing back manquillo and Moreno are far more suited than Henderson and Allen are there. Not sure why he put them there in the first place.

sure i saw sterling raise a hand and strike a swansea player, in front of the kop.
not a mention of it anywhere today-instead shelvy is under scrutiny for some incident with a liverpool player
