You probably haven't met many Liverpool fans then lol
I've worked with a lot of Liverpool fans over the years and am working in Liverpool at the moment. I've always found the genuine fans to be top quality, very knowledgeable about football generally and good to talk to. Same for Everton fans. It's the ones on RAWK, who couldn't find Liverpool on a map who are the idiots.

I'm sure there are a lot of good posters on RAWK but most of the ones that post on the City thread are sanctimonious fuckwits. It's the most poisonous thread about our club that I've ever read on any forum. The majority of decent LFC fans that used to post on it have long since cleared off.

It is weird how Liverpool nearly always seem to turn up when they play us. The only time I can remember us comprehensively outplaying them since the takeover was the 3-0 home win when Woy was their manager. This season's 3-1 home win was deserved in the end but they were the better team for most of the first half and when we beat them 3-0 in the season we won the league under Mancini they played well for much of that game too. In most of the other games during that period they've arguably been the better team yet today they were gash.

Aren't those two the same game?!

No mate. The Hodgson game was August 2010 and the other game was January 2012

Maybe that's because we allow them to play. We lose our composure when teams (as Liverpool do) play a high tempo, fast pressing game against us and don't allow us time on the ball.

That's true but where was Liverpool energy and closing down in that 1st half?

It's baffling that spitting is regarded as a worse offence than that cowardly stamp by Stevie Me.
That sort of shit should carry a mandatory 6 game ban at the very least.

Predator should get a retrospective 3 games too.

I'm sure Maureen will mention it if he doesn't.

At least we know Mario is still a blue
:)

Gerrard really belongs in a bygone era of the 80s with two-footed tackles, serious injuries and hooligans.
