Yesterday's abysmal first half performance means this has now gone and they've handed the rags their top 4 spot on a plate.
I can honestly see them not making CL football for a very long time now. If this is the case how will they keep hold of Sterling, Sturridge, Coutihno etc?
They've got what they deserve for yesterday's capitulation.
I won't be shedding any tears for 'em.
In my view, the top four will now be the same for many years to come. No coincidence that it is effectively the four riches clubs. That lot sorted their commercial side and stadium before the robbing Yanks came calling. The Mickeys never had that chance and now looked doomed without a new, cash-rich investor. They will be fighting with Spurs for fifth from now on.
