Klopp is very good. But he also had a poor season this season, and he's in a 2-team league as opposed to a 4-team league. Liverpool (again not whining--just a statement of fact) need all of Chelsea, Rags and you lot to have a bad season at the same time while also keeping Arsenal at bay.

We're not even underachieving as such--5th is our relative talent level, and we're 5th in the league. There's no guarantee that any manager will improve on that.

The transfer strategy is a shambles though, maybe Klopp would do better there but even that is not transparent, no one knows who are Rodgers types or committee types (I personally suspect a clue is who Rodgers hypes in public, and also which players are dropped faster).
