Another good one in case you haven't thrown up in your mouth already:

Rudyard Kipling described him best.

He kept his head when all about him were panicking, and blaming him
He believed in himself when others didn't, and didn't give a fuck what they thought
He waited for that missing jigsaw piece and didn't tire of waiting
He was lied about, and ignored the lies.
He was hated but rose above it all.
He played so good and spoke so wise

He made us dream yet dreams were not his master
He made us think " what amazing aim"
He led us to triumph and witnessed disaster
And treated them both exactly the same
He put up with hearing the words he'd spoken
Twisted by journalists to make a trap for fools
He saw the team he gave his life to, broken
And built it back with worn out tools

He could have moved to take more winning
Instead announced the move is off
And started over with new beginnings
And never mentioned the financial loss
He forced every muscle nerve and sinew
To serve their turn long after they were gone
And so to hold on
When there was nothing left in him
Except the will which said to him
Fight on

He could sit in the kop and yet keep his virtue
Or be the best in the world nor lose the common touch
Cos neither foes nor loving fans could hurt him
Cos all men respect him but none too much

Stevie g filled every unforgiving minute
With 90 seconds worth of distance run
So his is the world and everything that's in it.
And, which is more, you became a man my son

It's absolutely crazy. I admire Starfish's loyalty to the murkysiders, I really do. But to rate him as better than Dogleash, Rush, Souness, Fowler etc is delusional. Then again, the Mickeys do "delusional" to a far higher standard than anyone else.
Probably says more about how Sky has taken over football. Anything before 1992(?) has been erased from the national memory. It's actually a crying shame, but not surprising.
Has Kevin Keegan been air brushed from history. ?
Roger Hunt (ask your dads, you young 'uns!)?

And King Kenny™ wheeled out as well today. Priceless.
