I disagree (but you're probably on the wind up anyway). He's been part of a generation of players who came through during the Sky era, and all the hyperbole that goes with that. Sky have turned our sports presentation into a very American style, with presenters and commentators shouting and using 'greatest ever' at every turn. He's been a decent player, but ludicrously overhyped.
