Thought Brenda missed a trick today not being at Newcastle to lay a wreath.

I heard Rodgers commented "City have all the money in the world but you can't buy a good tradition of wreath laying". I thought we were hopeless myself at the wreath laying, not once did Kompany get his head up to look for the camera lense and give a good old sober look at it. We are light years behind Liverpool at the auld wreath laying

It's like penalties, you can practice all you want on the training ground but it's a different story altogether when the big occasion comes around.

My favourite bit was "we go again" it was purely for the cameras. He couldn't wave the camera away quick enough at Palace.
The look of utter horror and stunned disbelief on their faces will still be making me laugh if I live to a 100.

1. Scum
2. Dippers
3. Arse
4. Spuds (surprisingly and unaccountably)

Throw in Real, Barca and Bayern if you want to include foreign clubs.

Champions League games apart, our match-going support is broadly the same as it was a decade ago, at least in terms of 3/4 of the match-going support, I would guess.

The dippers don't realise we've jumped a generation. When they were good and we were shit, there was no real rivalry. Now we are good and they are shit, same again. With the exception of last season: a one-off when we saw them in all their mawkish, 'istree-milking, grieving glory.

We'll piss on them next week and leave them to fight it out for fourth place with their "real" rivals.

This puzzled me as well. Usually he embraces the camera. He's kissed the fucker twice at Old Trafford and then there was his ridiculous waiting for it to arrive before the speech at full time against us. Some time between then and Crystal Palace away though, he must have had a fall out with SKY's cameraman because he didn't want to play up to it there.
