They cannot realize it. Try having an argument with a member of the Children of God sect. Try persuading them that they live in a hallucinatory bubble, a kind of self-sustained delirium. I did it once, many decades ago, and wasted twenty minutes of my life that I'll never get back. It's the same with this lot.
They just have 'istrionics

I like their style but they are still some way off from challenging.

Naby is a great addition but Can is leaving. They need a DM. They need a back up for their front 3, maybe they see Ox as the answer though, need a top keeper and a CB AT LEAST. Probably LB/RB as well.

Given they have just spent £75m on VVD, clubs will try to rinse them.

Will need to spend £150m minimum if they will bring in 3 players. Coutinho money is now spent so will they make the necessary investment??? IMO unlikely.

Well we're not made of money like some clubs but we will do our best to be competitive. We can improve next season whereas you guys will be hard pushed to improve in the league over what you've achieved this season so far. I suspect that you will be strengthening your squad further in order to maintain your efforts next season. For us its a case of our young defence developing as a unit and cutting out the silly mistakes.

With your global and national fan base together with your long istree of winnng trophies infront of sold out games every week I don't understand why your club is not made of money, where has it all gone?

Fuck me it's SpionKnob...your team spent £75 fucking million on Dick Van Dyke so you could easily have spent it on full backs...
What the fuck is it with Scousers and Bullshit statements?
Well we spent about £30 million on 4 full backs Gomez, Robertson, TAA and Clyne, although Nat hasn't played all season. We traded Coutinho, Lucas and a few makeweights to buy Salah, VvD and the Ox. We'll buy Keita and maybe a goalie with our profits from this season, anything else would be a bonus but I'm not optimistic tbh.

I guess we don't sell as many shirts as you and pay bigger wages than you because nothing else makes sense?

I sense a tinge of sarcasm in that answer...
Maybe shirt sales especially snide shirts dont bring as much income as most think , its one thing having this huge global fan base , its another monetising that fan base , millions of people "support" Liverpool and Utd , however a large percentage of them never actually buy anything either indirectly or directly related to those teams , maybe a scarf, mug or a car sticker .
To be honest i think Liverpool missed out , during the 70s and 80s, had they been able to extend Anfield to something like the capacity of Old Trafford they would have probably been more competetive throughout the 90s and beyond . They missed that boat to a degree , eventually if clubs are allowed to sell their own streaming rights , then Liverpool with their worldwide fanbase, will be in the ideal position to cash in , hopefully Citys support will have grown enough by then for us to remain competetive
