Exactly, both the Manchester and Rome police went into full over drive, they did what they are paid to do by protecting teams and supporters alike.
Murkyside police sat back and partied with the fans, allowed scum to climb all over their vans and throw what ever they wanted at our coach knowing full well they wouldn’t be touched, LFC played it brilliantly, they even turned it around that yet again they were the victims and needed protecting, all brushed under the carpet, will get a small fine and a warning, ****s should be no where near the final.

I knew their PR dept could attack (Sterling) but their defence is incredible (never their fault)

I hope CR and his fellas goes through them like a dose of salts.
God forbid the scummy little hypocrital candle wavers win it, the media wankfest will be more unbearable than it is now.

Have you not heard no Liverpool fans have been arrested in Europe this year.

Funny thing is there has been so much criticism of Italians but the irony is the police in Manchester & Rome did their jobs.

Well it is true that no Liverpool fans have been arrested in Liverpool and sadly, last time I looked Liverpool was in Europe. It seems you can wreck a bus stand on cop vans and have illegal smoke cannisters without fear of arrest in dipperland.

Do you think if a Liverpool fan was knocked unconscious last night right outside the ground the local Roma police would have been criticised.

Not excusing the Italian thugs attacking at Anfield but they stopped it last night, the keystone cops couldn’t.

Too many similarities to the Chelsea win in this run. Both got away with alsorts and win games that should have been defeats.

To coin a phrase it looks like UEFA have decided 'it's their year'.

Or didn't even try to stop it more like .

You must admit Merseyside police do come out of this looking simultaneously incompetent and negligent. Quite an achievement. Standing by and watching Liverpool fans climb on top of their police vans whilst City’s coach was being bricked takes some doing

To us they do but I’ve not really heard any criticism, the myth of just a few cans & italan ultras took the headlines.

I am still amazed this wasn't raised at a higher level. At best it is total incompetence and at worst complicit.
