So if var had been used in our games the first leg would have finished 2-2 with ourselves having two crucial away goals. At half time in the second leg we would have been 2-0 up meaning Liverpool would have had to score twice to take the tie to extra time and we wouldn't be desperately chasing a game so tiring the team out. All conjecture now and we still might have lost but going into a game 2-2 instead of 0-3 down is a huge difference.

Didn't watch any more of the game after the dippers scored the second but have just seen the highlights. My piss is boiling at the decisions they got last night

Roma president demands VAR after Liverpool defeat
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43983600 looks like roma are just as mad about the stuff liverpool are getting away with

Roma president James Pallotta says it will be an "absolute joke" if video assistant referees are not introduced in the Champions League after being knocked out by Liverpool on Wednesday. The Serie A side lost the semi-final 7-6 on aggregate despite winning the second leg 4-2 in Rome. And Pallotta felt his side should have been awarded two penalties.
"I know it is difficult to ref but it is really embarrassing that we lose on aggregate like that," he said. "You just can't let stuff like this happen."

If VAR had been in use last night Liverpool would have had a penalty for the foul on Mane.

Funnily enough he didn't mention that decision.
