Of course what this does mean is it they will have to keep him now, instead of replacing him. good news!

Let's see em backtrack on that, jeez they are fun to watch when they fuck up

Raheem Sterling? lol
I am surprised they didn’t try that one, as well. ;-)

I can't even recall a collision, karius going down holding his head, stopping play and requiring treatment, nothing.
I just find the whole thing very strange and I find the timing and wording of the statement tonight slightly odd, it just doesn't sit right for some reason.
Oh, I completely agree.

For me this smacks of trying to explain away the result to save face (and perhaps lessen the burden of blame on Karius). Not shocking, either, given they have extensive previous for this sort of thing.

I actually don’t mind the latter intention, as I actually feel bad for Karius (as a person), but the former is just another example of the ethical rot at Liverpool.

I would make the claim that's the monetary value of Pep being pitch side in a European tie exceeds €10000, and in fact City have received a greater penalty than the scourers.
So riling against a clearly wrong refereeing decision is worse than violent conduct by a riotous mob against the players and staff of a club competing in a UEFA competition.

Shameful. Still as corrupt as ever.

Apparently Karius had been on holiday in the States, so presumably he had presented himself to some medics with complaints of dizziness, nausea etc. Could have eaten a dirty kebab, nothing to do with the football. YCNMIU
