There's too much guilt by association, or in some cases non-association.

Pep has shaken hands with the Sheikh, the Sheikh is the deputy Prime Minister of a country that doesn't even recognise the State of Israel, therefore Pep is anti-Semitic.

It's ludicrous.

This thread needs to get back to talking about Liverpool.

This thread needs to get back to laughing at Liverpool.

Nothing you've posted and nothing Salah is accused of doing could lead a reasonable person to believe....

If he did do what you are suggesting, maybe Salah didn't want to be associated with an Israeli team, that is not, of itself, anti-Semitic.
Has he refused to do this with any other team? No, why just an Israeli team? It's like people who say boycott Israel because of their so called treatment of people in Gaza yet these people say nothing when these same people are being murdered by Syrians. Is it because Israel isn't involved in Syria then they don't say anything?

That's classic whataboutery. I've no idea what Salah's view is on Syria, or the plight of the Rohingya in Myanmar, or his view on asylum seekers in leaky boats in the Med, but I do know that whatever his opinions are on these subjects, assuming he has an opinion, it has no bearing whatsoever on whether he shakes hands with an Israeli team or not.

There is no room in football for politics whatever salahs view are on the Israel government, the hands he would have been shaking are of footballers not politicians
