Something about our year.

The t shirts are being printed & they are advertising for stewards for the parade.

There at it again , Klopp stating that the Dippers belong in the Champs league Q/Finals and Mane with "we can beat anyone" , what is it about that football club , its a cult and everyone is brainwashed who joins or supports the club , in reality they are a club who have won a League Cup in the last 12 years , and have only qualified a couple of times for the Champs league in recent years. Could not imagine Pep or anyone at our club stating we belong in the Q/Finals or one of our players stating we can beat anyone. Anyway , it looks like its their year , so why are we bothering its a foregone conclusion the Dippers have won the Champs league in March , the T-shirts are coming off the press now.

They can't beat Spurs, so they best hope they don't get through.

I'd like to see their high intensity press vs Madrid. With Madrid hitting the ground every time they're pressured and in turn Liverpool and the greatest fans in the World ragging as Madrid stroll to a victory.

I would love to draw Liverpool in the quarters.
With a full deck of players we would cream them, home and away.
When we played at Anfield we had a long injury list and Stones had just come back from injury playing poorly.
Next time round it would be different

That's what I thought too, for a different reason.

Real were quite impressive last night, but PSG were just playing too deep and only half arsed.

Real away often get in trouble when you don't play their way: high press, physical, fighting spirit. They got it several times at German grounds.
You could bet Klopp would exactly know how to play Real. That would be quite interesting.

2nd leg away and Real wouldn't be happy about that draw at all.

Why? For being confident?

You’d think a hint of caution would appear but no, that’s what we can’t understand, everyone associated with Dippers believe it’s theres.
We are 16 points clear & nobody has declared themselves as winners of the league. Gundogan has just done an interview to say we got a long way to go yet before we are on the levels of Europe’s elite.
Theyve beat City in 1 of 2 games so the cup is a sure thing. Fck me the worst team in the league knocked them out of the fa cup & you never hear fuck all about that.

Interestingly enough I have been over in Liverpool today and had a great conversation with a Liverpool fan on football. He suggested that City v Liverpool would make a great CL final and I had to agree. Most probably the two best attacking sides in Europe at the moment.

Oh for sure! In terms of what teams would create the best entertainment for a final, it HAS to be City/Liverpool. What a final that would be.

Don't think it'll happen though, while you have a good chance of getting to the final I don't think we have what it takes (yet, anyway).

I get your point, but don't mix up Klopp and "dippers". He would never say it's their's.
Klopp knows, the quality of his players isn't on top CL level, and he has to compensate that by a confident and even aggressive attitude.
What's wrong that they won't fear anybody? Confidence is a basic winning attitude. Pep would say the same.
But yes, I also prefer City's way of grounded understatement.

Liverpool is kind of whistling in the dark, if you know what I mean.
I think their defence and keeper won't be good enough for the CL title vs the big boys, but they could be dangerous as we have seen even if they were a bit lucky.
Anyway, if they believe in their strengths and the team is fighting, they could achieve something. Which I wouldn't say for the rags.

Yeah I get what your saying, the point they miss is it takes a good team at their best to beat us on an off day. They get beat by poor teams on an off day.

They have been out of the competition for years, have had the softest draw possible so far but suddenly they deserve to be there and can beat anyone. Klopp is an arrogant prick - its always all about him. The Dippers are welcome to the childish **** and he is setting himself and them up for a fall. This is not confidence its arrogance.

I just watched his interview after seeing the posts on here, and expected him to sound arrogant but he came across well. I don't think there is anything wrong with what he said. You really seem to be looking for problems where there isn't any when it comes to Mane's comments. Saying we can beat anyone is a common thing to say to the media. Plus what he said is true, they can beat anyone on their day. What would you expect him to say? We're shit and have no chance when we come against a top team.

You could say softest draw about Basel.
Deserve to be there seems to reflect the moment now in CL 2017/18, not the last 80 years.
Can beat anyone is a confident statement, but well they did beat us. So what? Let's wait and see.

I think you could call Klopp a bit crazy and he would agree, but arrogant just isn't true. He is a hard worker, and generally very respectful (in a non-emotional moment...).
Sometimes his mouth is quicker than his brain and he always seems to be on a high testosterone level.
He is speaking out what he thinks, straight away. Maybe that's what you call "arrogant and all about him".

Somehow his mentality fits well for dippers.
Unthinkable at City though. Pep 4ever.

The 4-3 loss was played after the dippers had 8 days of and we had played 2 games in that time. We gifted them 2 goals and after 70 minutes they were blowing. I would relish a CL tie with them.

This gets overlooked a lots of city fans, never mind delusional dippers, media and pundits ... Fresh as them City win all day long ...!
