Anyone got the link for Liverpool’s average attendances in Europe?

Got a mouthy dipper all excited because the echo is saying City haven’t been able to sell out the home leg.

City Vs Basel - Attendance: 49,411
Liverpool Vs Porto - Attendance: 48,768

I know. I just remember a link that show they were getting 20 odd thousand as European champions

Less than that for certain games Sam - historical attendance data for all Liverpool’s European Cup games below. You can use the link to check out their attendances in other European competitions. Their first season back in Europe - 1991/92 - after the 6 year ban is a bit of an eye opener:

Interesting figures.....this will shut em up in the pub next time we're talking football.
The second leg will be sold out soon enough and there's still two weeks to go. The weird thing is why Liverpool feel the need to say we are struggling to sell tickets at this early stage...maybe I could understand it with a few days to go. Since the draw was made it's like they just want to attack everything about City. I never realised just how arrogant and, what a pain in the ass their fans are,
until having had to listen to all their bullshit over the last couple of weeks.

They're going to lose the tie and they know it, that's why they're acting like that.

It would be a massive shock if they won so it is odd that they are so confident and arrogant about this.

it is part of the cult like nature of Liverpool football club. They believe that if they say it often enough on forums and in the media they will win. It is like they are calling on some footballing god (who believes that LFC is the chosen football club) to bring them victory.

I genuinely believe that Liverpool fans are mentally ill.

Odd? How many Liverpool fans have you met that weren't arrogant, up their own arse, deluded and full of shit?
