It won't be long before they are just a big team in Liverpool, and nowhere else.

They'll have their scandanavian pensioners travelling over for their home games as always, but there is nothing to attract a new generation to replace them.

Their history prevents them from accepting they are just another club now.

Was one of their players booked for diving? Can't be true. I seem to remember Liverpool supporters telling anyone who would listen that diving was something that only other clubs did.

I guess it wasn't their fault.

Because the ref was a fucking coward.
It boils my piss when players deliberately grab the ball when they think they've been fouled. What they are in effect doing is trying to do the refs job for him by forcing him to give them a free kick.
Each time a player grabs the ball before the ref has blown for a foul, regardless of whether the player thinks he was fouled or not, needs to be shown a yellow and a free kick given the other way.

This is just another example of why no English refs are going to the World Cup
They just do not referee games correctly any other league in the world and Mane is off
Now this can only be down to two things total incompetence or corruption....

Oh and even Ethiopia have had a ref selected for the World Cup and their top League is semi-pro....
