we don't or want any so called favors from united or anybody, just like everton last night we had to dig deep and win the game on our own terms

i don't feel comfort or comfortable in knowing teams like united think they are doing us a favor if they do there level best to beat liverpool and expect to roll over in the derby, please can we stop this shit right now ???? everybody hates us just as much as liverpool and united hate us, we are called for having great owners and buying the titles and cups, the media hate us and not even once as they ever said manchester city win something without the money tag so why start now

united win for themselves and nothing else, they hate us just as much as liverpool so am not buying into this crap, so again i don't want any favors from them and manchester city have to win the league by themselves and result like last night show we have fight and will go to the end

You say we don't want any favours from any team but as it stands even if we were to win all of our remaining games, we will need a "favour" from at least one team, it's just that is the game in hand and united seems the most likely game given its their hardest remaining fixture and it would be the hardest to take for Liverpool fans which would sweeten the deal.

I disagree saying people hate us as much as Liverpool, theres a reason why many neutrals favour us winning it over them, people do hate us but in the main it is hatred born from jealousy, that's natural and understandable. What fan of any middling team in the league wouldn't wish to be taken over and have 10 years like we've enjoyed? If I was say a Newcastle fan, I'd have a hatred towards us too because I'd want my club to be as successful as us, that applies to any other club that hasn't won anything major in a long time. Its different with liverpool though, they have no recent success to be jealous of, the hatred is pure and based on the actions and comments of the club and their fans. United hating them more than us isfirstly debatable based on who you talk to but either way, it isn't so much about that rivalry being bigger than the manchester rivalry or vice versa, it's because their set of fans are unbearable and infinitely worse than ours.

Another player talking up winning the title in February.

None of our players have not even uttered one syllable about titles yet this is the third player from the mickeys talking about titles.

Keep talking you giddy ****s.

Alisson: "We believe we can win the league. We've shown in the past that we're good enough and we'll continue to show this in the games we've got to come"

Huddersfield showed they were good enough in the days of yore, so did Wolves, Derby, Blackpool etc, if he means recently then he's a genuine helmet.

they hate us believe me, we are everybody biggest hate (manchester city), winners are hated and when you add money they are even worst, that tag that little old city are everybody 2nd club went out the window in 2009, but the thing with united is they are trying to turn it into some sort of glory a cup final if you like and in there tiny minds giving helping hand ????

look the season is over 38 games and the run in is called that because teams start to tighten up and the bottom teams fight to stay in the league so rise there game top teams fear losing out on top 4 or 6th place money pots so from now on everybody is wanting points so forget favors from anybody, ask the everton players last night when coming off at the end they was broken that they lost they give it everything to beat us

i said in another thread that if liverpool win the league it will hurt for a couple of days, but if united won the league it would hurt all summer that is hate, and united would be just the same united hate us more than liverpool and being local rivals we are enemy number 1, just look at last season etihad derby to see it

Liverpool will win the league: talksport have been told. By Glen Johnson who should know because he was very upset when he was part of the last dipper squad to blow it.

They have all slithered away, plans to flood the place last night in tatters

I pick one up for work and as he got in it was the usual "mornings" and then talk shifted straight onto what rounds we were doing today, followed by the weather report.

I didn't bother mentioning it, just had a silent giggle to myself.
