The cult does have ripples of concern, they suspect that out in the real world the cult is not as loved as it should be, and they don't understand why.....

I honestly can't understand why other fans would want them to win the league ahead of us. It's just pure hate of all things LFC. They know what we know; that City are rotten to the core. But as they believe City winning hurts us they're happy to sell sportsmanship down the river.

I can almost understand United fans, even Everton and Spurs. Chelsea aren't on my radar but I. Sorely disappointed in Arsenal. I always held them to a higher standard of a true football club.

A lot of people simply don't care though. Which is really really sad, and a sad indictment on a far too large a number of football fans these days.
Without tainting all 'kids' with the same brush, but a massive part of football fandom is kids who love certain players or teams, and they won't give a shite about human rights in a far away land, or about a team cheating the system, so long as their favourite player is active on social media.

And the others really do hate Liverpool and their fans that much.

Liverpool not winning the league is a thing now. For teams like Arsenal, United and Chelsea it's something they'll laud over us to make them believe that they are better then us. For fans of Spurs and Everton, it makes them feel as if we're equals and that if we were to start winning the league, it'd show the differences they don't want to accept.

This thread was shut down because of some of the vitriol. Fair enough, when it was opened it did not take long for Liverpool (the city not the club) to be called a cesspool, so I could not be ar**d. Funny thing is We (Liverpool fans were missed) calls of isn't it quiet, and has so and so been banned etc etc. I have not been banned, I am just waiting for an intelligent comment to be made and then I may answer, if I feel I can add to the debate.
