Its quite simple to play against them, but for some reason teams fall apart.

They play kick and rush tactics, they have no plan b. Too many players/teams get clouded by the pressure and dont play their normal game. I think our approach at anfield and etihad proved a couple different ways to do it, however we do have the best team in the league so that makes things easier.

well to be fair, if you do stop them then a combination of Salah's collapsible legs, the ref, the linesman and your own keeper kick in to ensure they score.

Let's be fair. Liverpool have had an all conquering season. Apart from the Champions League this season they also won:

Nett spend trophy
PL title in December trophy
Bottled a 7 point lead trophy
Disrespected both domestic cups trophy
Diving and cheating trophy
Most offside goals trophy
Longest parade route trophy
Lying about parade turnout trophy
Throwing an innocent old bloke in a fountain trophy
Wanking in a fountain trophy
It was a 10 point lead :-)

...you can add
The crowd sucks the ball into the net trophy
Famous nights under the lights trophy
Offended by everything, ashamed of nothing trophy

Our plan B is our solid defence, we don't really have any plan B in an attacking sense. We saw this in the draws against Leicester, West Ham, and United. It means we are very hard to beat and I can't see us losing many games next season, but I fear we will draw a few more.

If teams parked the bus like they do against us they would have more success but for some reason they don't. Burnley went there and played a totally alien game to their normal one. Palace should have won but for Speroni's antics. His performance was dubious to say the least.

I think that's being a bit unfair. They're a far better team than you give them credit for. We're the best team in the league, and had to work extremely hard just to edge the two games against them (overall) this season. They don't play as good football as us, obviously, but their style is particularly effective. Like it or not, they're going to be our main challengers again next season.

Whatever we might think of them being gifted points by goalkeeping errors, or blatant offsides not being chalked off, and players going to ground a little too easily, I have to agree with this. That game at ours back in January was a monumental battle and while I thought we were just about the better team on the night, we had to be at our best to get over the line. I felt Liverpool missed a trick by going too defensive in midfield and they should've started Fabinho, but they kept their shape really well and I came away from there thinking there was little chance that anyone else would beat them in the remaining games and so it proved. It's not just ability wise where both teams are way ahead of the others - for me, a lot of it is down to how strong we and they are mentally, and that mental strength leads to the kind of consistency where we won our last 14 league games and they won their last 9. Those stats are unheard of from 2 teams fighting it out for a title in England. Arsenal won their last 13 games of the 2001-02 season but none of their contenders for the title put together a winning run to the end like Liverpool did this season.
