The scenes at the Waterfront were good but it was the mayor of Liverpool who first stated that there were 750,000. Not one single travel twitter account in Liverpool reported traffic issues anywhere, nor did Northern or TransPennine report any major issues.

You'd think if twice the number of people than residents were in a city there would be some major ravel chaos?

I think that's being a bit unfair. They're a far better team than you give them credit for. We're the best team in the league, and had to work extremely hard just to edge the two games against them (overall) this season. They don't play as good football as us, obviously, but their style is particularly effective. Like it or not, they're going to be our main challengers again last season.

Liverpool had a good turn out yesterday, but bigging it up by saying one in ten of the world's population turned out, makes them look like the arrogant gobshites they are.

I'm not a fan of the guy by any means but surely if you plaster this on Piers Morgan's Twitter or Facebook it will get a lot more airtime and show the scummy fuckers up for what they really are.
