They're absolutely nowhere near our level and I fully expect them to drop between now and the new year. Their front three are individuals and their midfield is well below even Chelsea, United's and Arsenals quality.

It is all about Salah really. If Salah consistently hits the levels he hit last season then they will be a genuine challenger. If he doesn't, they probably won't. Everyone talks about their front three being the best in the world (they definitely aren't) but that assertion is based on last season when Salah was playing unbelievable football and like when they had Suarez in 13/14 it significantly lifted the game of everyone around him. When Salah is playing at his current level they just look like three half decent players but nothing terribly outstanding.

Europa League please. They’ll be in there with Arsenal, Chelsea & Spurs, AC Milan, Shakhtar or Hoffenheim, which won’t make it easy for them. They’ll have an extra couple of games in the round of 32 and be playing Thursday/Sunday. Ideally they’d drop out of the top 4 as well.

Double-edged sword: if they do then they'll have even more intense CL games to play. If they don't their season will be seen as a failure...despite the money Klipperty has spent.

Napoli are a very good side, they were absolutely all over Liverpool in the first fixture and they're incredibly lucky it only ended 1-0 which has given liverpool a lifeline.

I expect them to score, and then Liverpool have to win 3-1, 4-2 etc. which seems unlikely.

Lets be honest they have the best front three in Europe. I know that for a fact because the media tell me every day. Here is another fact. The top three in europe plus the other 8 on the pitch managed one shot on target last night and that was the penalty.

I would give them a bigger chance than that.

They were very fortunate to get that crazy penalty otherwise PSG would have carried on playing with freedom.

Liverpool are way to physical in midfield. Too many crunching tackles and not enough guile.
