Bad as the attack on our coach was, if it were a choice between bringing the person who left Sean Cox in a coma to justice or giving some sort of doubtless small punishment to a number of Liverpool fans who ultimately did no lasting damage to an indivudual I would choose the former all day, every day.
I understand that the two should not be mutually exclusive but a man who went to watch his beloved team play a game as well as his family has had his life ripped apart.
If the Merseyside police have taken their eye off the ball vis a vis finding a few vandals to prioritise catching an attempted murderer then I am all for it. Utterly sickening attack. Quite how many City fans are up in arms at this should cast their eyes in the direction of the Shalke incident.
How that sinister looking mob managed to walk to the ground unchecked by a single policeman got me.
If you see a gang like that, obviously looking for bovver, you'd want either 30 lads with you or you'd be looking to hightail it away from them.

For me, if it's a choice of fight or flight I choose flight. These things can escalate in a flash though. Just pleased that they brought the guy to book.

Yes the upshot of the attack on the dipper fan is appalling but so was the potential for injuries on the coach. I don't rate one higher than the other... violence has moved out of grounds given the CCTV etc in there - if clubs have stewards and CCTV in grounds then its incumbent on plod to deal with the stuff out of grounds. Somehow they have been able to identify and convict an individual who committed an appalling assault on one individual yet the same force cannot locate/ find/ convict one individual from a mob splattered all over social media who bombarded a bus? I feel for the fan and his family and am glad the culprit will be incarcerated but cannot understand or forgive the crappy effort they have made on the bus attack

I sort of agree but at the same time disagree. I said in my original post that the two events weren't mutually exclusive but the fact remains that only one event had really serious repurcussions. The bus incident was IMO a huge failure by the Merseyside police and may well have resulted in a catastrophic situation, but it did not. Additionally, not only should they have prevented the situation but also followed up and arrested / charged those responsible but however outraged I / we feel about that incident no one was hurt, as opposed to Sean Cox whose life has been ruined.

I don’t think Liverpool will loose another game in the league this season. A draw somewhere certainly that means we have to win every game left to be champions. A very tall order in my humble opinion

Dipper at work today getting all excited that they "destroyed" a strong Watford side last night.

F*cking proper annoying he was today.

I can't begin to imagine just how giddy the c*nt will be if by some miracle they win the league anytime soon.

He will turn up for work in a full kit with Salah on the back like most of the delusional clowns.

So basically you are saying Liverpool can win every game but not City.

There is no way Liverpool are winning every game. As long as we keep winning I think they will buckle at some point. The pressure hasn’t really started in earnest yet. That happens after the clocks go forward.

If I’m wrong and they do win the next 10 btw, then they fully deserve to win the league. 99 points is an astonishing achievement.
