Haha, true. As I say, when you add in Keita and Chamberlain crocked at £95m, the wider lazy spending comparison myth is laid bare.

De Bruyne and Fernandinho is a crocked pairing of £88m.

The reality is that both teams have spent a shit load.

What I would say, you have bought more at the top of the market whereas, if we were to sell Sane, Sterling, Bernardo and Jesus tomorrow, we'd get around £400m for which intially cost us a combined £153m.

And all under the age of 25.

You’ve definitely done some good business. I’ve never been a Walker fan, but most of your signings are top draw. Bernardo is unreal, such a quality player. And Sterling has really come on again this season. Sane can blow hot and cold at times but the talent is definitely there, has the ability to be one of the best players in the league. Your squad is unreal and everyone seems to be happy. Pep just knows how to do it as history shows! He’s a major reason I like City.

You seem to be killing us with compliments.

You’re a quality side. Nothing whatsoever not to like about the football you play. Said a while back on here City, Barca and Juventus are the best 3 teams in Europe right now. The fact we might be able to join those 3 teams if we beat Porto in the CL is unreal.

Today's starting eleven for Liverpool against Fulham... Feel free to share and don't let the facts get in the way of a good story, eh lads?

Allison £75m
Van Dijk £75m
Matip free
Robertson £8m
Alexander Arnold £3.5m
Lallana £26m
Wijnaldum £25m
Fabinho £40m
Firminho £29m
Salah £38m
Mane £34m

Total cost - £353.5m

Subs
Keita £52.75m
Lovren £20m
Shaqiri £13m
Milner - free
Origi £10m
Moreno £10m
Mingolet £9m

Total £114.75m
Are you conciliary to Donald Trump because this has to be #Fake News?

I have it on good authority that they do not receive any financial reward for the privilege of representing such European Royalty. A loaf of bread and a fish per week with a £100 gift card that they can donate to a charity of their choosing.

Apparently in last month's edition of Shoot Magazine it plotted out where all of the players originated from and they are pretty much all born and bread Scouse (apparently it did used to be a pre-requisite that you did actually have to appear on an episode of 'The Bread' before you could play in the 1st team before the programme was eventually cancelled).

This is substantiated in way that they are referred to in and around the place;

Toxteth Mo
Allison from the Wirral
Virgil of the Liver bird building
Hendo from Spike Island

All very inspiring I'm sure........

:-)

Can't only be me who thinks the Fulham keeper had an ulterior motive when he assaulted Mane, today. Brainless isn't even a case for the defence. Wrong Wrong Wrong. It fucking stinks.

Nah. Rico is an idiot, has a reputation for doing silly shit like that.

Aint half had a helping hand with some of the keepers though.

Have we had any keepers help us like that? None spring to mind.

Mahrez misses pen (cannot be forgiven if we don’t win the PL)
Palace Gift
Pickford fucks up up
Fulham keeper fucks up
Against West Ham they should have lost offside goal

Honestly I’ve never seen this much luck go for one team in a season. No doubt they’ll get one or two more gifts before the end of the season.

This is going down to the wire folks

They're the jammiest c***s I've seen in a long time
