Their general sense of entitlement pissed me off long before the bus incident.
Being c.unts to Sterling upset a lot of us as well.
Football royalty, my arse.
I would say the milk soured during the 2014 title race. A Supporter bus was stoned and that unbelievable abuse we got at Anfield after respecting the minute silence for Hillsborough. I naively thought my enemy’s enemy was ok, but boy did I realise what rags were on about.

Their fans jeering & booing Ederson as he was stretchered off on oxygen after being drop kicked in the head helped fuel the fire too.

Plus, the horrific fan experience you get at Anfield. Carling Cup semi by all accounts was horrific.

Yeah, the Carling Cup semi-final was grim. That was down to Merseyside Police as much as their fans though.

I have to say that their concourse is a disgrace. Always feel claustrophobic in there.
For a club with their history you would think they might have done something with that area to alleviate a potential crush.

It’s dangerous - simple as that. Shit ground.

The same Graham Hunter who laughed at the Pep going to City claims and said he was nailed on for the rags?
The one who wrote the book The making of the greatest team in the world with unrivalled access to what went on inside Barca, who had special access to Spains world cup squad for a official documentary, who currently resides in Barcelona and who can class many of the top players in spain as friends, yeah that Graham Hunter.

The one who sneered at Pep joining City and ended up looking like a clueless itk...yeah that Graham Hunter.

Both Marti Perarnau and Guillem Balague wrote in their books about Pep that he spoke on a number of occasions about managing in England and that the rags were the club he always referenced.
Whether he came to us as a result of connections or promises made or whether the rags were half-hearted in their pursuit of him we won't know unless Pep divulges this at a later date.
Hunter like others may have over -estimated the rags pull but on Spanish football I'll take his opinions before most others.

Turned sour long before 2014 for me. To be honest i liked the 70's team, thought they were great saw them quite a few times along with City. Went off the boil in the 80's . The City's entitlement characteristic really started to take hold of the club, Heysel and Hillsborough changed the club big time. No criticism of the club is allowed or given by football, media or government. The feeling perpetuated is that football 'owes' them a big trophy, the fans are the 'honest and most deserving and loyal' and any violence is simply enthusiasm. Scouse humour is legendary, who can forget the Anny Road Darts team, Flares and fireworks, turnstile storming etc. They always have a song or a poem or a wicked ruse to relate , gets on my effing tits , they're twats always banging on about their history , yet they had little before the 60's rolled in. (i accept they have won loads since then as have Utd) Klopp plays to them magnificently, with his theatrics and encourages their behaviour. City were never a threat to Liverpool and they pretty much ignored us in the past , how times have changed. I expect Utd to be as they are, i don't mind it, they are our geographical rivals and always will be, but Liverpool have gone way down in my estimation and my admiration for what Everton fans put up with has increased. My abilty to listen to the scouse accent has never been good.

That's another reason i don't want them to win fuck all. Another is that smarmy cu.nt Milner. Can just imagine him being interviewed afterwards.

Lolzz
Laughed more than I should at that.
I hope his wish comes true.
Yes, Jimmy Milner, left City to 'Win Trophies'
Well, he's certainly done that, so far he's amassed three losers medals.
