Said it in the other thread but they looked shattered in extra time after Madrid scored their first goal. Absolutely no energy and it looks like playing the same 15 players constantly for 2 years has finally caught up with them.

They've been running on empty for about 3-4 weeks now
 
I just want to thank Liverpool and all of their clearly-not-related-to-each-other, never-consumed-a-rat, knowing-more-than-one-song-which-itself-has-one-word, five-fingered, no-teeth-missing fan base and their dazzling, eminently likeable players (especially Robinson and Henderson) and — of course — their loveable, carefree, stoic, cleanly-shaven manager for providing me with so much joy over the last few rather personally-stressful weeks.

Thank you all. Really.
 
Football Season is going to be scrapped in the coming days for sure.

Even if they award the Victims the Title by default, because of their point lead.It will be forever tarnished, we will be able to say you could very well have bottled it(4 defeats in 6).You didn't win it mathematically beyond doubt.

No open Top Bus Parade.

No crowd gathering.

Just a default award of a Title, that will fade in to the annals of history virtually unnoticed or celebrated.

Wonder how they will get on defending the European super cup and club World Cup this year?

Gets a very easy ride from the media who see him as this smiley, easy going, sociable guy. As you say very different character when they lose.
 
Our roof just lifted a few feet when we saw the result. Then when I saw the commentary of the game and realised that for a few minutes they thought they had clinched it at 2-0 only to then concede three makes their loss all that sweeter.
Some months ago Robertson was boasting that nobody in Europe wanted to play them (over inflated ego to the fore) - just wait for next season's EPL when every team wants to beat them because they will be champions.
