I would argue that Colin Mafham's piece was very much grounded in fact.

These type of incidents seem unique to Liverpool and prove that journalist's point that trouble does follow Liverpool fans around.

most of what he wrote was arguably true- his error was in lumping in hillsborough with the rest. using the H word is like catnip to a kopite

Well, I don't know about other Everton fans but I just love going up to the statue of our best player ever and shooting fireworks at it and then claiming rival fans did it so I can woman on Twitter.

That strikes a chord with me .
After the QPR game my first thought was to nip out, get some Standard fireworks and fire them off in Central Library
