I can’t get over that podium. It has to be the single most embarrassing thing I’ve seen them do (not including jumping into a social issue bandwagon) maybe if fans were there I’d get it. But there’ll be no one. Who’s going to hand them the trophy? Who’s going to clap them up the stairs, are they going to demand medals put on each player individually? Is it all going to be artificially pumped up ambience?

Fucking hell that is the most tragic thing I’ve ever seen and there’s been countless cringe and cheese moments in football for years now. A podium for an empty stadium, I honestly might watch it now just to see how tragic this ends up, this is like a paddy power piss take stunt.
