I don't get any of this - on the back of any of our title / cup triumphs, I am not remotely tempted to start scrapping.

Do they not feel joy?
Deep down they know it’s not a real title and they’re fucking gutted about it. This is an example of them showing that. They waited all these decades, they thought they’d ran away with it in fine style, and it was all completely fucking ruined for them. The season finished in March, what we’re going through now is just to make sure clubs get their TV revenue and to keep the players fit. This isn’t real football and this isn’t a real title for them.

And for any lurking Cultists; yes, that goes for the Champions League n’all. If City do happen to win it, it doesn’t really mean a great deal because it’s not really the Champions League proper. Just some exhibition tournament held to fulfil TV deals.

Because of COVID and then the Winter World Cup in a few years, football may not get back to normal until the 2022-23 season. The last proper thing that happened in the Sport was City winning the EFL Cup, the last proper Premier League champions were City last season. This is the best team Liverpool have put together for decades and they won’t really get the chance to see how good they were going to be because of a virus ruining two seasons (because it’s going to ruin next season n’all, make no mistake, there’s no vaccine and a second wave will come!) and a Winter World Cup ruining the one after that. This great Liverpool team will be past it by the time we get going properly again in this sport, van Dijk, Salah Mané etc. will all be over 30 just as Jesus Sterling Laporte Bernardo, Foden, Ederson etc. all come into their prime!

what a load of BS regarding the champions league, and they dippers was always going to win the title from the beginning of March, and they have won it, i dont get your point..

Imagine turning up to the site of a cancelled festival this summer, there’s no crowd, no music, no beer yet you act as you expected to, you still set your tent up, you go dance in the middle of a field to silence. people passing would assume you have a mental issue, that’s exactly what happened at anfield last night.

I hope they have another forced celebration on Sunday, every time they do they only further embarrass themselves and show the world exactly why everybody detests them.

I can easily imagine klopp having his team do a lap of honour with the trophy to an empty crowd ending with one of those forced Dortmund bows to an empty kop that they usually only reserve for draws at home to relegation threatened sides.

Horrible club, with a sizeable scum following. No surprise that everyone hates them.

I used to think it was just us Toffee's who could not stand them. But fans of so many other clubs seem to have the same feelings as us.

They have a very good team at this moment, and to be honest they deserve to win the league. But it is that arrogance of their fans, the we deserve it more. The need to gloat and make out that they are the greatest. That is what makes them detestable.

Plus, they buy full size cardboard cut outs of their players.
