Noticed on Saturday on the pitch-side adverts for standard chartered contained the laughable slogan ‘here for good’ and some stuff about saving elephants, insinuating that they are in fact a very respectable and altruistic organisation and not at all a greedy crooked bank convicted for money laundering for presumably what the above contributor would consider to be ‘whitewashing (?) regimes’.
Is this standard chartered ‘sportswashing’ their image by attaching themselves to a prominent PL club?

winning the champions league from a 4th place finish and 25 points behind the champions Manchester city ?? now that is the sign of a great team and one of the best in the world that got 97 points and still come 2nd in the league to champions Manchester city, so winning is not everything and Liverpool are the masters of it (fake glory) ?? unlike Manchester city 4 major trophies in one season and retaining champions with a 198 point total NO 2nd best just cereal winners that get the job done

liverpool are blowing smoke up people arses and its based on just finishing in the top 4 giving them a champions league spot ?? liverpool and uefa are a match made in heaven and the rules are used to swing them into thinking they are this great team ?? when really its just a old fashion cup team that get a helping hand with uefa turning a blind eye to things that carry on at liverpool like missing a goal given offside when clearly it comes of a liverpool player and offside that are not offside, even with there scummy fans smashing the city coaches and bringing and throwing flare in the ground all get over looked

but man city fans booing the champions league anthem its all wrong ?? city get a slap on the hands and told don't do it again and to respect it ?? many things that happens to man city in europe with uefa that liverpool never get punished for and that all goes behind the banner of UEFA FAIR PLAY hahahahah

Bless them they don’t know what their own team has been up to, we got creative with an Etihad sponsorship whilst they got creative with a fake stadium build to get round financial fair play.

If they see their teams as bastions if everything that is right, why don’t the boycott going to Qatar for the world club championship? Why do they also go for warm weather training in Dubai if the Arab world is nasty and they don’t like it? They didn’t care about sports washing and human rights when they wanted the ruler of Dubai to take the club off Hicks and Gillette.
