That doesn't make sense. City have just won the treble with a load of players over 31.
What does a load mean here? 4? We have also a great squad and could replace Kevin. You can't replace Mane/Salah in the same way we did with KDB.

It was a free hit and the BBC fell for it.. aided and abetted by a shocking Everton teamFunny though because Klipperty was desperate to get knocked out.
you're going to change your style to play beautiful football by the start of next season? I'm impressed
VAR still lookingTake something pretty remarkable for them to win the league cup .....
A Catholic or a Celtic fanWhat is a Tim?

How many?
One thing that winds me up is when City were 9 or so points clear 2 years ago the media was saying City were ruining the competitiveness of the PL and as a result it was a harming the PL.
Yet at the same point of the season LFC are 13 or so points clear it is all about how great they are and no criticism of them running away with it is damaging to the PL.
Same as last season.... Teams get slagged off for fielding weakened sides yet City play a full strength side v Burton and get called disrespectful for banging in 9

With VVD physique I cant see him lasting at the top until 33/34. There arent many built like him where their body doesnt break down, will he be as good with average pace, etc. If they do win the league this year there are some players who might fancy a big last pay day. Apart from TAA, henderson and firmino I cant see any that seem overly attached to the club. Might be wrong obviously, just a view. Could another club turn heads, do their owners want to keep players? If they could get £100m for any of the players would they sell? Would that knock the belief in the other players about how serious the club is. Lets face it, they didnt expect to win the champs league last year or get anywhere near us. They couldn't have imagined our weak defense this year. They probably imagined getting 2/3 seasons big performance from salah, mane, vvd, etc and get ridiculous coutinho money again. Who knows, last season could have bollocksed up their own plans. Or they could just be very good, shrewd business men who hired the perfect scouts and manager for the right moment.Yeah..but who said that we can replace those players easily. Bernardo doesn't seem to be that good in the Silva Position. Sané might leave and who knows who is coming hopefully not that Real Sociedad guy. Another thing is that Liverpool is not nearly as deep as us but still somehow wins with players like Origi. Once Klopp leaves( if he ever leaves) they will lose their mojo. Until then everything is possible for them. Maybe they win the league twice in a row too. I can see VVD playing at the top until 34-35. Same with Henderson since he never was a good footballer anyway. U could say the same about us because of KDB. How long is he going to stay at this Level?
Klopp creeps me out. Im convinced its all an act for the cameras. Bet hes a nasty **** at home
Me too. Forgetting the football allegiances - he scares me. In a crazy psychotic violent sort of way.
It’s easy to argue, they had 5 of the first team squad playing plus a Jan signing, hardly a team of “youngsters”. Don’t be influenced by the media shite.Hard to argue with that.

Total disrespect for the oldest cup competition in world footballIt has been proably said already that the side Liverpool fielded against Everton had 7 players aged 22 or more. Hardly a team of kids this. Admittedly, Milner got injured, so another youngster was subbed in. But it wasn't a team of 18-19 y.o. that beat Everton, but a team with several youngsters. Pep fielded a team with several youngsters against Leicester away in December 2017, we won that game on penalties.
Edit: that team started with 5 U21 players, 2 of them U18, and Pep subbed in another 2 U18 players.
