I wonder if VVD, Salah and Mane will stick around. I've noticed that their decent players, I'm thinking Suarez and Coutinho, for example, tend to fuck off at the earliest opportunity. Seems to me they'e never had world class players like Aguero, Silva and Kompany that have loved the club enough to spend their careers there. Not that I blame them.

I think they have got the base now to build on what they’ve got, their revenues could be better than the rags by 2021. They didn’t fuck about with the fee for Van Dyke and have showed they will spend if needed where they have demonstrated a good eye for identifying players.

Suarez, Sterling and Coutinho fucked off as they thought the dippers were playing money ball and didn’t match their ambitions, now unfortunately they are a genuine top team. Would be interesting to see what happens is Barca or Madrid did cast their eyes on the front 3 or Van Dyke though.

Think Klopp had already booked his holiday in the sun is the reason he can’t be arsed being the manager for the replay.

His master plan was to lose against Everton which din't work so he put out a team he thought should win but that didn't work. Maybe put out the u16's instead of the older kids and then you can fuck the FA Cup off as well as the League Cup. Once you get past their first 14/15 players the rest are meh and he knows it. He and that shit stain of a club are grade A tossers

I think Klopp's done the right thing regarding his first-team players. Only the English FA could schedule replays in the middle of a winter break. It's farcical.

However, the break is there for his players to get some rest, not him. He can pick whatever players he wants for the replay, but for him to refuse to manage them is ridiculous.

Also, the timing of this break is fucking stupid, with players having already been run into the ground over the last 6 weeks. Reducing the insane workload over Christmas/New Year would have been far more beneficial for the players' welfare than this belated token gesture.

spot on. Klopp should be there to manage the side even if it’s the U18s. He’s the manager of the club. As for the FA it’s ridiculous for any club after such a hectic period to have this. Feel for the other Premier League clubs also. Interested to see what they do.

City were run ragged last season playing in the CL, the league AND both cups. Liverpool have the league in the bag, it is impossible for them to bottle it now. I don't see why Klopp can't go all out for the trophies as well, even if one of the first teamers gets injured, they're still going to win the league regardless.

Money talks. Never going to have a break at Christmas.
They don't need to introduce a break at Christmas (and I wouldn't want them to). Just take two games out of the schedule and play them in this February window that they've magically managed to create.

Making players play four times in 9 days is insane. Giving them 10 days off a month later doesn't make it any less insane.

Get the job done in the first place and you don't have any problems, Klopp has done his best since he arrived here to throw all the cups. If you want to rest your first 18 for the replay then do whatever you want but to refuse to manage is embarrassing. Imagine the media if Pep or Mourinho came out and said the same.

I sometimes think it’s a bit mardy when our fans say “imagine if we did this” about certain things but in this case I think it’s very true. There would be absolute outrage in the media if Guardiola said that. Be interesting to see how it’s reported tomorrow.
There was a massive outrage when we played the kids against Chelsea

So the FA Cup, the oldest, the biggest and the best domestic cup competition in the world isn't good enough for Herr Klopp! Wow some arrogance that.

I think the point is that The FA have introduced a 'mid season' break, where all teams will have the same time off, although staggered so not at the same time. The FA have then written to clubs asking that they respect the break, and not to schedule any friendlies etc during that time, as the break is designed to benefit the players and clubs by allowing some time off. They then schedule FA cup replays during the break..... It is farcical. Liverpool have the squad capable to field a team for the replay, and so do most other teams in the PL, but what is the point in having a break, if the FA are scheduling games during it? If the same applied to City, I would hope Pep and the club made a similar point of saying they were not going to be at the game, and field the kids as well. It is not just Liverpool in this position though, and clubs like Spurs and Southampton may well field strong teams in their replay, but they shouldn't even have to make the decision, as they shouldn't have a break that isn't totally free from possible fixtures.

As for staggering the break, just give everyone the same 2 weeks off and stop pandering to broadcasters. Would 2 weeks in January or February without any games featuring a PL team be such a terrible thing? The same amount of games would be broadcast throughout the season anyway.

It’s all good for him now but when they don’t win prem league or champions league he doesn’t have much else to fall back on
He can’t always rely on wining cups they get entered into by winning the main two cups first
It’s plain to see his squad is a bit shit beyond his main 11
They lose salah van dijk or mane and they may struggle

Agree with everything you've said, but it was the Premier League that scheduled this break and insisted that teams must not play any games, not the FA. You're absolutely right that it's farcical that the FA and PL aren't on the same page regarding this.
