Bit early to be calling them bottlers, will bite us on the arse. They've already played Chelsea and United away ,Arsenal and Leicester at home in those 9 games. We've only played Spurs at home. Until we get Laporte back and are either ahead or a few points behind them i won't be so confident!

It still winds me up they were talking about them equaling our 18 game winning run when theirs would have been spread over two seasons. How can that be the same achievement when they have all had a good rest and relief from the pressure of doing it game after game? Total nonsense but thankfully they didn't achieve it.

Pure Poetry my friend.. It wouldn't look out of place on one of the big banners they like waving in their shit hole of a stadium after they've handed out the song sheets for the 5 2 3 karaoke..

They really missed the roadrunner today. As you say if him and/or Mane are out they will struggle. The problem is their defence is pretty solid but they might start drawing games. For me the two players to get injured would be Salah and VVD. He really holds it all together at the back like Vinny did for us. How our scout in Scotland, if we have one there, missed him when he was at Celtic God only knows.

Personally I think Mane is better than Salah, but yeah, if any of those three or arguably even the fullbacks miss time they will drop quite a few points.
 
The main note to take from the game tonight is to the rest of league. United are a poor side, but they showed a desire to want to stop and rattle liverpool’s game. Liverpool had no answers and if it wasnt for a bit of shoddy defending by one united defender (who switched off to let llanana sore) then the 3pts would have been theirs.

Lets hope that with united being mid table at best the rest of league now actually take note and recognise that they can try to stop liverpool instead of letting them just run riot.

The dippers looked ordinary against a very average and out of form united side
