Klopp wants to keep the squad small in order to allow young players to rotate in to the team. Ironically, his football romantic approach fits a company like FSG like a glove (even if players don't make it, they can sell them with a big profit).

I'm on your side though. Liverpool is only one injury away from disaster. Origi simply isn't good enough and Liverpool have no cover (except Milner) for the fullbacks.
I thought Milner was a midfielder?

Cough cough bullshit. What young players is he rotating in in the premier league/CL? Absolute crap this pal. You play the same 11 week in week out. Why put such obvious drivel.

I think it's fairly apparent that Klopp doesn't care too much for the domestic cups. He wasn't going to try to lose but the team he put out against Arsenal was pretty weak. 11 changes from the weekend. I read some posts demanding that he fined/punished for disrespecting the competition by fielding such a weakened team so there must be agreement on this.
Unfortunately Arsenal were even worse. It was a great match to watch for the neutral since both teams attacked the whole game and the defending was awful leading to plenty of goals and an exciting finish.
say let Villa go through if a time can't be organised. Either that or give the kids another shot when the first team is in Qatar. I don't see much being done to accommodate Klopp.
Read the entitlement in your post mate. ‘If’ it’s not convenient for us let Villa go through. How magnanimous of you. The fixtures were there if he wasn’t arsed why enter in the first place? You cared enough to field an ineligible player. Field a team end of.

I thought all clubs had the same size squad of 25 why is the dippers smaller ?? I thought academy players could come through at any time and didnt count as part of the 25 .....

Plus I thought klopp plays the same 14 ever game.
I presume you mean the eleven on the pitch plus the ref and linesmen. If so, you missed out the VAR officials.

Brought to my attention by the excellent Second Captains Podcast, this post on Blue Moon is just bonkers.

The problem with your approach Marvin is that it won't work if it's just City fans. We're a minority and these so-called journalists are little more than clickbait merchants, pandering to the likes of rags or dippers, who hugely outnumber us. One journalist told me that publishing a story which was about United would get ten times as many clicks as exactly the same story but with City as the subject. I've had a well respected journalist at a 'quality' broadsheet tell me he's judged on clicks and hits, rather than the quality of his writing.

But there's more than that. There are certain parties actively fuelling the anti-City agenda in the media. We are fighting a war therefore & I think Vicky Kloss would confirm that. We're soldiers in that war & it's up to us to take the fight to the enemy. As City fans, we're biased of course but we can also act independently of the City PR/media teams & do things they might not do, while still supporting their overall objective. I see us as proxies, in a similar way that organisations like Hezbollah are proxies for Iran.

That doesn't mean we should be abusive or threatening but we should be spelling out the truth because if lies don't get challenged consistently and robustly, they become the "truth". So that means challenging the cliches and slurs like City being state-owned, that we're wholly reliant on Abu Dhabi for finance or that the UAE is a tyranny where gay people are executed. All of these (and more) have been used against us.

My solution is not to resolutely ignore falsehoods but to challenge this narrative persistently, deploying facts, reason and logic. I've tried to do this for quite a while & have published stuff about our finances & FFP itself, which have had an impact. I get immense satisfaction when I see City fans deploy these arguments on social media as it shows I've succeeded in getting the message across and there are others who have done the same.

Each to his own but to me, your solution is the equivalent of being a conscientious objector in wartime, who refuses to get involved in the fray. If everyone did that there'd be no wars but sadly not everyone will. Mine involves sniping at anyone who sticks their head above the parapet, albeit by putting demonstrable facts into their heads, rather than a bullet. Goebbels believed that if a lie was big enough, and repeated enough, it became the de facto truth. I believe in challenging lies.
Hezbollah and Goebbels. Crikey.

It seems PB has stirred up the 'fewmin' masses on rawk.

You know that saying about staring into the abyss, and becoming the very thing you hate? What TV Tropes calls He Who Fights Monsters? Liverpool and their fans have done that. They've become '90s Man United. The obnoxious fans on social media thinking they're hot shit because their team won the CL and revelling in the fact that everyone hates them, and rearranging the League Cup to suit Liverpool will piss people off. Although at least the tyrant won loads of trophies.

I know how you lot must have felt in the '90s now.
