I worked in maghull for 8 months, but I reckon there will be a reason not to judge these chirpy scoundrels?

Well, if the fans you were describing were who you met in those eight months, then you’ve got me fair and square. But I don’t reckon most of who you met in that time fell into that category. Likewise, I’ve spent a lot of time in your neck of the woods at various periods and have known both sides of the coin it’s fair to say. Same as in life, take people as you find them.

No you got me there, there were some alright lads......they were Everton fans tho ;)

I gained mine of others by going to places and meeting people. Or people that I already knew. It’s a far better barometer than playing guesswork and Internet bingo. Have a nice evening.
181 posts on an opposing team's forum in six days?

That's over 30/day. I’m averaging less than six, and I’m a City supporter.

That’s bordering on obsession, don’t you think?

I think, looking at it, it’s actually being civil by replying to people who’ve said something, but duly noted.

That statement could apply to any date in football history in relation to the 19 years that followed it.
Yeh - I'll try..........

Ahem

Ironic in some ways that there is no football being played at York City's ground, as there wasn't a lot played there in the game against City circa 21 years ago albeit being memorable for producing the largest away attendance in world footballing 'iiiiiiiiiistory (of which we have none).

I await the news powerhouses to start the bidding to secure my services..........

CAN WE MAKE LIVE MATCHES BETTER?
Hey, guys. I am a big fan of the Premier League. I really appreciate the platform because it is a good place where we can share our experience and fan stories about favorite football teams on it.

I am also a PhD student at Loughborough University and really need your help. I'm trying to make stadium experiences better, but first I need to know what you think of live football at the moment. I know we’re in lockdown and we can't watch matches like we used to, but if you can find 5 minutes to take my survey it will mean the world to me in this difficult time. I really appreciate it.

Can I play?

Ironic that Uwe Rösler managed Fortuna Düsseldorf today at a ground where I’ve seen KFC Uerdingen play. I also saw Uwe Rösler play for City. I’ve also seen City play Liverpool. When I watched Uwe for City, Uerdingen at Düsseldorf and City v Liverpool, there was no way of knowing that Uwe would manage Düsseldorf v Paderborn in an empty stadium.

This is really good. Did I do well?

I couldn't remotely follow it so I assume it's brilliant :-)

You had me at the first Uwe.......

Yes. Can l play too?

It is ironic that my mum and dad lived in Germany and my dad and his mates used to watch Borussia MG in the 80s. They had cardboard cut outs yesterday but they had real people back in the day. They stood at the front where the manager Jupp Heynckes used to make his way to the bench and a lad from Barnsley used to shout every 'Hey Jupp' or was it 'ay oop' which sounds the same. He must have thought all Brits were daft.
Anyway when mum and dad used to go to England they often got the same ferries as Liverpool fans in Europe. No matter how they tried to avoid them they were there travelling early or late. Running amok in the car parks waiting to board, trouble in the bars, crowding the duty free shops to nick stuff and running up and down stairs like lunatics.
Apparently the crew were resigned to all this and Heysel came as no surprise.
I bet most people would rather have Borussia MG's cardboard cut outs in some ironic way.
