Listening to the BBC commentary for the NOR/EVE game earlier it gave us a glimpse of the horror that awaits us when they finally get over the line. It will make our back-to-back title winning media coverage seem like a school fete next to the Notting Hill Carnival.When Liverpool win the league and nothing else how many times are we going to hear they had the best season ever?

best team this year - most consistent over the league and therefore deserve to win it unfortunately.
We have been below par at times hampered by injury (esp to Laporte) - they too at times have ridden their luck as do all title winners.
We now need to respond next year (as do some of the other teams in the league - chelsea, spurs, arsenal - to make it more competative and not a two horse race)

I don`t believe we`ll beat Chelsea but if we do and we can then beat the Dippers then lets make it uncomfortable.As you say its just prolonging the agony for us.its not over if we win - its their title undeniably but if we win we postpone it a little longer
