Had a disagreement with someone at work who claimed klopp was better than pep because pep is just a chequebook manager.

Even after I pointed out the facts of liverpool's spendings he carried on with all the other cliches that idiots repeat.
It was at that point I decided to refuse to put in more effort in my retorts than they do in their tired nonsense.

Pretty sure Klopp was their manager when they signed a £75M defender?

Klopp doesn't improve players he just burns them out.
 
Wouldn't mind but then he complained that when city want something they just go out and buy the best they can, including back room staff and training facilities, which blew my mind because surely every club in the world should be trying to do this?

I did get him to admit he was jealous, so there you go

The way dippers use the 'coutinho money's as justification of spending world records on a goalkeeper and a defender is laughable. If I spent £100 getting all the children's xmas presents but I pawned off my granny's old necklace so they could get an Xbox and tablet for each child. Is that not classified as spending over £100??
